1.What makes you write about customer support and ITSM?
So much of the advice out there treats support as a cost center, something to be trimmed, automated, or optimized. I write about customer support and ITSM because I see it differently. Done well, support is one of the most underused growth levers a business has. It’s where customer relationships are tested and either deepened or lost. What pulls me in is the gap between how support gets talked about in strategy decks and how it actually runs day to day. I like closing that gap with practical, grounded content that respects the reality of the people doing the work, and ITSM fits the same instinct: it’s about building structured, repeatable processes that quietly make both customers and teams better off.

2. What’s one customer support strategy you wish all businesses would follow?
Being honest and upfront. Customers can usually live with a delay, but they struggle with silence. A short, honest update about a delay or the next step does more for trust than most companies realize, and it quietly cuts down the anxious follow-ups that clog up a queue. It’s low effort and high return, which is exactly why it surprises me how often it gets skipped. 

3. Outside of work, what are topics you’re passionate about?  
Outside of work, I run and train regularly, fueled by a serious cold coffee habit. Fitness is my reminder that meaningful progress is slow, quiet, and built on showing up consistently, lessons that tend to carry over into everything else.
